Focus and Awareness

This lesson uses the analogy of a valley with two mountains, and the journey through the valley.

If you imagine that the two mountains are metaphors for the powerfull forces, neither are correct and by supporting either we compromise our integrety. Take the conflict between the Christian and the Muslims, neither side are correct, both need to be respected and learnt from which in turn drives our moral code propelling us forward. This is awareness, being aware of the forces and respecting them.

Imagine trying to get out of the valley by climbing a mountain, the route will be treacharous and difficult, we may one day get to the top of the mountain but will die in that position, we will not have travelled forward at all, and by being sucked into the conflict have compromised ourselves when we didnt have a belief.

One must focus on oneself, and the journey, and by using the powerful forces in the correct way we end up being pushed through the valley, being balanced.

The future

what I call the three edge sword complex:

I was learning to read peoples tarrot in college, a good friend of mine read the cards and he did attribute a meaning, I honestly thought it was co-incidental, in this instance I deemed it not successful. (I believe this to be an example of the brain linking events together creating the association of co-incidence)

I have had my cards read by my friends Mother who is a medium and Reiki healer (she never charges for her services, and she finds it hard to do it to the people she knows best which I was told is normally a good sign). She has read my cards a few times and being a mathmatical and methodical person have to admit what turned up was pretty significant. (I believe based on the thoughts I was emulating at the point of reading my cards, she was able to predict events in my "near" future)

This made me re-evaluate my position, I beieve in chaos theory and do not believe in fate as such, clearly If I believed the above to be true I would have to acknowledge some sort of fate.

I watched the secret, and learnt to change my mentailty and evaluate my goals. To start with I wanted to be a millionaire, and other quite shallow things. I realised when preparing a presentation on Making Goals (motivational speaking) that goals are only true goals when there is a true motivation, becoming a millionaire is NOT a true goal. Being a millionaire would not make me happy, or help me with the messages my subconcious or something else was telling me. Hence I really thought about what my motivation was, and evaulating past visions and dreams told me I am meant to learn, and to teach. This came to me in the form of a Japanese lesson roughly translated intake / outake, and the motivator was to have as much as an impact on the world as I could ( in a positive manor ). I learned to shape my opinions and mentality towards this, and over time from being at a very low point in my life 9 years ago, have had nothing but a series of positive experiences teaching me many values. By changing your mentality and actions towards others reflects back on future circumstances, I am not sure how and why this works but It did for me. In "the secret" it is used as a part explanation for why the top 5% of the rich stay rich.

My point is our mentality and all decisions and actions detirmine our near future, what tends to happen is a negative situation promotes a negative reaction blaming something and so forth creating a vicious cycle, what I refer to as a "spiral of negativity". All it takes to break this is reacting in a positive way taking responsibility for yours and even the decisions made by others, YES taking responsibilty for other peoples mistakes. This is the only way we can gain control, by taking this responsibilty we are then empowered to solve the problem, thus having a positive effect on the others around us. In turn these positive vibrations will ripple on creating a positive chain reaction. It matters not the bad things that happen, we must understand that as sentiant beings we have a responsibility to the world around us. It is possible In this way one single mind has the abilty the change the universe, when excersized correctly.

The ripple effect I explain above is what I envision when I look at a Japanese zen garden with sand and rocks and ripples.

I believe once a certain combination of thoughts are released, certain events in the future are definitive creating some events that will occur. I then believe it possible to predict the future, whether this is through dreams or visions. It is also possible that one could change their life if one understands this time delay between mentality and reality.
