The eastern philosophy is built upon the concept of yin and yang, positive and negative and balance between the two, western philosophy has forgotten this and looks at it in disregard, I think the truth is always hidden between two lies, but The conecpt is that earth has two forces equal and opposite : yin and yang, postive and negative, and everything is a mix of these two forces. Tai Chi is about moving and complimenting these forces, while expanding Chi (an invisible energy conatined in all living forces), Chi masters in China are able to do amazing things, one great example can be found on youtube, Qigong master projecting his “qi” energy. I have performed Tai Chi and great heat can be felt emulating from ones hands, personally I an inclined to put some belief in huge cultural beliefs and personal experience combined.
It is also a theory of many that the reality that we see is merely consequence of a deeper geometry and forces at work, whereas this sounds like a sci-fi film like the matrix, this idea is not unheard of in the scientific community.
